Opportunity Overview
Talley Law Group is seeking a Kansas-licensed Estate Planning Attorney to assist with a short-term consulting engagement. This role involves reviewing an existing estate plan for a client with Kansas interests to ensure legal accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current Kansas statutes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Review estate planning documents for compliance with Kansas law
- Identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or compliance concerns
- Provide recommendations and suggested revisions where necessary
- Collaborate with Talley Law Group attorneys to ensure alignment with client objectives
- Deliver clear written feedback within agreed timelines
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in Kansas (required)
- Demonstrated experience in estate planning, trust administration, and wealth transfer strategies
- Familiarity with Kansas estate, probate, and trust laws
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to provide timely, practical, and actionable guidance
- Prior consulting or advisory experience is a plus
