Opportunity Overview

Talley Law Group is seeking a Kansas-licensed Estate Planning Attorney to assist with a short-term consulting engagement. This role involves reviewing an existing estate plan for a client with Kansas interests to ensure legal accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current Kansas statutes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review estate planning documents for compliance with Kansas law
  • Identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or compliance concerns
  • Provide recommendations and suggested revisions where necessary
  • Collaborate with Talley Law Group attorneys to ensure alignment with client objectives
  • Deliver clear written feedback within agreed timelines

Qualifications

  • Active license to practice law in Kansas (required)
  • Demonstrated experience in estate planning, trust administration, and wealth transfer strategies
  • Familiarity with Kansas estate, probate, and trust laws
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide timely, practical, and actionable guidance
  • Prior consulting or advisory experience is a plus
