Position Summary
The Recruiter is a proactive, project-driven talent partner responsible for building and sustaining a high-quality, predictable pipeline of candidates across Audit, Tax, Legal (TLG), Client Accounting Services (CAS) and Operations. This role combines brand marketing, hands-on sourcing, and rigorous pipeline management to anticipate hiring managers’ needs, shorten time-to-hire, and elevate candidate experience. The Recruiter plans and runs the full recruiting lifecycle—from intake and market mapping through offer close—leveraging the ATS for accurate tracking, status updates, and reporting. Success is measured by time-to-fill, time-to-hire, candidate and hiring-manager satisfaction, offer acceptance rate, pipeline health (quality/volume/diversity), and sourcing channel ROI.Essential Functions of the Position

Technical Abilities
- Partners with hiring managers to forecast needs; conducts structured intake/calibration to define success profiles and interview plans.
- Builds and maintains proactive pipelines and talent communities for recurring and critical roles; schedules regular manager touchpoints to surface pre-vetted candidates.
- Designs and improves recruiting tools: job descriptions, requisitions, postings, candidate questionnaires, and scorecards aligned to competencies.
- Runs structured, consistent screening and behavioral interviewing; evaluates character, competence, and chemistry to fit team and role.
- Creates and maintains search strategies and market maps; monitors compensation trends and provides offer guidance.
- Owns end-to-end requisition project plans (milestones, SLAs, risk/issue tracking) to keep searches on time and on budget.
- Delivers clear, actionable candidate slates and recommendations; advises managers on trade-offs and next steps.
- Prepares weekly pipeline and KPI updates for stakeholders; presents data-driven insights to improve funnel quality and speed.
Technical Skills
- ATS expertise (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, JazzHR, or similar): creates requisitions, stages candidates, tracks status/reasons, schedules, and produces reports/dashboards.
- Sourcing mastery with LinkedIn Recruiter (projects, talent pools, search strings), major job boards (e.g., Indeed, ZipRecruiter), university/niche boards (e.g., Handshake), and professional communities.
- Manages InMails and candidate communications at scale; builds nurture sequences and follow-up cadences to increase response and conversion.
- Advanced Boolean/X-ray techniques to uncover passive talent; builds repeatable sourcing playbooks for priority roles.
- Comfortable researching and applying AI to streamline intake notes, JD drafts, screening questions, scheduling, and first-pass resume reviews; demonstrates discernment and quality controls.
- Creates compliant, compelling postings and structured questionnaires that align to success profiles and reduce bias.
- Proficient with spreadsheets for funnel analytics and capacity planning
Client Service
- Proactively communicates with Partners, Department Managers, HR/Operations to anticipate needs, align priorities, and set SLAs.
- Holds regular touchpoints with hiring managers to review pipeline health, interview feedback, and next actions; calibrates profiles based on market data.
- Consults on interview design, selection criteria, compensation ranges, and closing strategies; provides market intelligence and competitive insights.
- Ensures an excellent candidate experience—timely updates, clear expectations, and respectful, inclusive processes.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external recruiters when needed; negotiates terms and measures vendor performance.
Preferred Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Project Management, or related field.
- 3+ years full-cycle recruiting experience (professional services or Audit/Tax/Legal environment preferred).
- Active use of an ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter with demonstrable pipeline results; certifications (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter) a plus.
- Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple concurrent searches, and meet deadlines in a hybrid environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate funnel data into actions; adept at stakeholder management and negotiation.
- High service orientation, mature judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work well with diverse personalities.
- Familiarity with CCH Engagement/Knowledge Coach/ARM is a plus (contextual understanding of firm roles and skills).
